Company profile: Our client is a market-leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years, in the supply, manufacture, design, install,ation and service of engineering equipment. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer based around Bayford, to complete nationwide installations and servicing of their equipment. Job Description: The Mechanical Site Engineer will work alongside the Electrical Engineer and the duties will include:
Attend installations and breakdowns nationwide when necessary and ensure that call-out policy is maintained
Service, repair, and assembly of equipment on site
Maintain and improve company procedures where possible
Complete site reports after each visit
Be a good ambassador for the company
Ensure that the company vehicle is stocked at all times as van-stock and tools will be required
Work alongside an Electrical Site Engineer at all times
Be prepared to stay away from home when required, at least 1-2 nights per week
When requested be available on a rota basis to provide standby cover over weekends and bank holidays
It would be good to see Mechanical Site Engineers with: · Mechanical engineering qualification· Experience of working in a similar role or maintenance· Ideally trained in the following areas – confined space, first aid & CSCS· Ability to work flexibly· Be a team player· Ability to manage own workload Hours: 40-hour week (8 hours per day) + overtimeSalary: £12.90p/h DOE – once trained can expect to earn £45k+ (including overtime premiums)Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
