Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance design skills by working on the 3D model design of the entire boat's primary structure, including shell plate, stiffening, and all steelwork features such as decks and bulkheads.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings supporting the manufacturing and production teams throughout the build and delivery of world-class submarines.
- Participate in collaborative team activities, learning from peers, sharing best practices, and contributing to product and design enhancements to meet client expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a design role within high hazard industries such as Civil, Structures, or Marine environments.
- Proficiency with CAD packages, especially FORAN, NX, or SolidWorks.
- Expertise in detailed design processes and tools for large scale projects involving platforms, assemblies, and system installations.
