Are you ready to lead ground-breaking projects in the Oil & Gas Industry? Jefferson Wells are recruiting exclusively for OneSubsea, the worlds largest Subsea & Technology solutions provider. We are looking for a Design Engineer, to specialise in Electrical & Hydraulic Downhole connectors. You will spearhead the development of new technology projects, ensuring on time delivery & optimal performance.

The company are a centre of excellence for Subsea connector systems and delivery world class connector solutions to the global energy industry. You will be working with cutting-edge technology at a manufacturing site that is home to highly skilled Engineers, technologists & manufacturing professionals, delivering innovation to meet an increasing global demand. If you have a genuine passion Mechanical Design and are enthusiastic about creating impactful solutions, this role is perfectly suited for you!

This role will include Participating in technical reviews or requirements, specifications & designs. You will also be diving headfirst into the entire design process, seeing it through from initial concept generation to product commercialisation. Other responsibilities include technician revies of equipment, requirements & specifications.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Science/Engineering or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or CAD with relevant experience
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo as well as the use of MS office packages
  • Report/specification documentation drafting experience
