Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant to join our Clients team at a reputable firm on a temporary basis. This is a full time Monday to Friday role based from their Barrow Office. This role ensures accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining compliance with legal accounting standards. The ideal candidate will ideally possess a strong understanding of legal financial procedures and demonstrate proficiency in managing accounts and cash flow. If not Previous Accounts Assistant experience is essential.

What you will Do?

  • Process and manage client and office account transactions in compliance with legal standards
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review
  • Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support the accounts team in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements


Your Skills

  • Proficiency in legal accounting software and financial management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams
  • Prior experience in a legal or financial environment is highly desirable
