  • Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) are recruiting for a Field Service and Commissioning Engineer for a well established business operating within the marine, power generation and renewable energy sectors. This position requires primarily electrical marine engineering skills and general knowledge of associated power generation equipment. The salary offered is 40-50K Basic plus significant overtime payments. Candidates should have an engineering based qualification, intermediate to advanced electrical knowledge, experience in fault finding, diagnostics and maintenance on relevant equipment, a solid understanding of marine systems and associated power generation equipment, and flexibility to travel. Key Responsibilities

* Fault finding and commissioning UK wide on primarily coastal areas
* Some world wide travel
* Acting as the face of the business
* Work shop based activities in Essex on a semi regular basis whilst not on site
* Electrical focus with elements of mechanical knowledge required


Required Skills and Experience
* Engineering based qualification
* Intermediate to advanced electrical knowledge
* Experience fault finding, diagnostics and maintenance on relevant equipment
* Solid understanding of marine systems and associated power generation equipment
