Logistics Operative / Basildon / £14.55 per hour
Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence manufacturer, are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Logistics Team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support the efficient transition of materials through our hub, ensuring we meet business requirements and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and put away inventory accurately.
- Process incoming goods receipts.
- Conduct inventory checks.
- Pack deliverable items.
- Handle customer repair receipts.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Delivering goods to different sites
Essential:
- Experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, or stock management.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar systems.
- Clean UK driving licence.
- SC Clearance
Desirable:
- Forklift and reach truck certification or inhouse experience
- Pallet stacker truck and MEWP certification.
- Previous Expereince within Aerospace or Defence
Skills:
- Computer literate.
- Organised with a neat work ethic.
- Manually dexterous.
- Physically fit and agile.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- UK National willing to undergo security vetting
This is a 6 month temporary contract with the potential to extend
Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 3.30pm, 12.30pm finish on a Friday
