Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm (Friday early finish)
My client who is a leading facility services company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in an office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Requirements:
- Qualified to Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical or related trade (H&V / AC / F-Gas)
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- Valid driver's license (Preferred)
