Job Title: Recycling Operative
Location: Basildon
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Shift:7am to 4.30pm - Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Sort and pick products/materials for recycling according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure proper segregation of recyclable materials to maximize efficiency and minimize contamination.
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the recycling area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Some experience within a warehouse/recycling environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately sort and identify materials.
- Good physical condition, as the job may involve lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 4.30pm, with optional Saturday morning overtime available.
