Peaceful Place Dementia Activities Club is on the lookout for an experienced Charity Shop Manager to oversee our existing shop and launch a new location. This is a unique opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a tangible difference in the community.
About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our charity shop, leading a team of dedicated volunteers, and identifying a new, low-rent location for our second shop. We're seeking someone with retail flair, leadership skills, and a commitment to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow our existing charity shop.
- Find and set up a second shop location in a cost-effective manner.
- Recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers.
- Drive sales, manage finances, and maintain high customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, ideally in a charity shop setting.
- Strong leadership and volunteer management skills.
- Excellent organizational and financial acumen.
- Marketing and promotional skills to maximize shop visibility and revenue.
- Must have a full, clean driving license and access to a car.
