Do you have a passion for retail management and a heart for community service?

Peaceful Place Dementia Activities Club is on the lookout for an experienced Charity Shop Manager to oversee our existing shop and launch a new location. This is a unique opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a tangible difference in the community.

About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our charity shop, leading a team of dedicated volunteers, and identifying a new, low-rent location for our second shop. We're seeking someone with retail flair, leadership skills, and a commitment to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow our existing charity shop.
  • Find and set up a second shop location in a cost-effective manner.
  • Recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers.
  • Drive sales, manage finances, and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail management, ideally in a charity shop setting.
  • Strong leadership and volunteer management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and financial acumen.
  • Marketing and promotional skills to maximize shop visibility and revenue.
  • Must have a full, clean driving license and access to a car.
