Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for Senior Support Worker (Adult Supported Living). The client offers care and support services to adults with a learning and physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • You will assist individuals with their personal care needs and budgeting, as well as support with menu planning, shopping, cooking and domestic tasks.
  • You will also provide support in accessing facilities within the community, including leisure activities and in promoting independence.
  • To provide a service to people with learning disabilities and others within the community.
  • To support and develop the independence of service users.
  • To work within the team and in partnership with others to ensure that this service is of a high standard.
  • To help assess the needs of particular individuals and develop plans to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to provide a high-quality service as well assist in implementing current legislation and CQC requirements.

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Having the use of a car and a full driving license.
  • Experience of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability.
