The Role
- Prepares and cooks a variety of meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintains high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensures the kitchen operates in full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Assists in menu planning, stock control, and cost optimisation.
- Works collaboratively with the catering team to provide a seamless service.
The Ideal Candidate
- Possesses proven experience as a Chef, ideally in education, hospitality, or contract catering.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains efficiency under pressure.
- Displays a passion for creating great food and working as part of a team.
- Holds relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery) preferred.
