A respected college in the Basingstoke area is seeking an experienced Chef to join its catering team, delivering high-quality meals to students and staff. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a culinary professional who takes pride in preparing nutritious and well-balanced dishes in an educational setting.

• Prepares and cooks a variety of meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintains high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Ensures the kitchen operates in full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Assists in menu planning, stock control, and cost optimisation.
• Works collaboratively with the catering team to provide a seamless service.

• Possesses proven experience as a Chef, ideally in education, hospitality, or contract catering.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains efficiency under pressure.
• Displays a passion for creating great food and working as part of a team.
• Holds relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery) preferred.
