Customer Service Representative
Basingstoke - Hybrid working
Our client is expanding their UK team! In this role you will be joining a small but experienced team where you'll own key customer relationships while being supported by seasoned team members. We're seeking proactive individuals who want to grow with the demand of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage orders from entry to dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries about stock, delivery, and complaints, aiming to exceed expectations.
- Take ownership of customer issues, investigate, and communicate solutions within established timeframes.
- Coordinate product returns and issue customer credit notes following company procedures.
- Maintain customer databases and manage direct orders using internal platforms.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to business report generation.
- Proactively engage with existing and potential customers to support sales activities.
What we're looking for:
- Enthusiastic, diligent, and proactive customer service professionals.
- Experience in B2B customer service within manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, and occasional face-to-face interactions.
- Ability to manage varied and sometimes demanding workloads effectively.
- Proficiency in internal MRP systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
