As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role by providing robust financial information to decision-makers and budget holders. You will lead a small team, delivering high-quality services while fostering team engagement and development.

Beyond just crunching numbers, you will articulate key insights from the data to senior stakeholders. Your deep understanding of the business area and stakeholder priorities will drive your contributions. You'll have the opportunity to inspire change, challenge existing processes, and seek improvements to enhance efficiencies and support our customers more effectively across the business.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

  • Develop an efficient reporting strategy that delivers concise, insightful analysis to stakeholders.
  • Provide monthly reports and narratives, conduct ad hoc performance analysis, and consolidate information for decision-making.
  • Complete monthly forecasting and manage risks/opportunities schedules.
  • Collect, collate, and challenge financial planning information for annual short and long-term business plans.
  • Perform financial and scenario modelling to support decision-making and influence financial transactions.
  • Maintain and progress continuous improvement activities, ensure SOPs are up-to-date, and manage a calendar for visible, controlled activity delivery.
  • Guide and support Junior Finance Business Partners, motivate and develop the team, and review their work with appropriate challenges.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with proven business partnering experience.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to present and explain financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experienced in financial performance analysis, spend management, budgeting and forecasting.
