Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to partner with an international business in the recruitment of a qualified and enthusiastic Finance Business Partner to support the central finance team in a brand-new, urgent role.

As Finance Business partner you will be working with decision makers and budget holders to ensure that the business area has robust financial information whilst leading a small team of Junior Finance Business Partners.

This role will offer opportunities to promote and progress within the wider business and would suit an ambitious and driven candidate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide an oversight of the management & financial transactions ensuring they are reflective of an accurate position on performance
  • Provide overall ownership of relevant P&L and Balance sheet accounts
  • Conduct relevant review and approval roles for journals/balance sheets of the team
  • Drive an efficient and effective reporting strategy that provides stakeholders with what they need in a concise and easy to use manner
  • Lead exploration of additional reporting and information for the business areas that could support decision making and achieving business objectives
  • Complete monthly forecasting activities including up-to-date risks and opportunities schedules
  • Conduct relevant financial/scenario modelling to aid decision making
  • Focus on continuous improvement activities

About you:

  • We’re seeking an energetic and fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with proven and demonstrable business partnering experience who has good analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Candidates should be excellent communicators with the ability to present plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance stakeholders and can explain financial concepts to non-finance people.
  • Previous leadership or coaching experience is key as is budgeting and forecasting management.
  • Experience of working for a complex multi entity or global businesses is preferable and strong Excel skills a must have.
