Senior Tax Manager

£80,000-100,000 + bonuses & benefitsA US headquartered business will be hiring an ambitious Senior Tax Manager into their tax team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of tax. Wider stakeholders will include finance, risk and legal teams, tax authorities and external advisors.

This position is purposed to assist the group in meeting their direct tax compliance obligations, alongside ensuring transactions/structures are tax efficient and coherent with commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversight and management of corporate tax compliance, alongside submission of tax returns.
  • Managing corporation tax payments across the region.
  • Oversight of UK & international tax reporting. Management of with tax accounting and reporting for both entity and group financial statements
  • Tax planning and advisory around commercial projects and transactions
  • Supporting with TP documentation and Pillar 2 developments
  • Ad-hoc support on wider tax and finance initiatives
  • Proactively looking to optimise tax compliance processes and systems
  • Working closely with finance stakeholders to instil awareness for key tax processes and raise the internal profile of tax, in collaboration with the wider tax team

The successful candidateThis makes a wonderful opportunity for the experienced Tax Manager who is looking to transition into a broad corporate tax role in-house, with a balance of compliance and advisory responsibilities.

  • ACA/CTA qualification with demonstrable post-qualification experience (preferably in-house)
  • Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance & tax accounting, including working with current & deferred taxes
  • Additional international tax or transactions/advisory exposure advantageous
  • A background in international tax
  • Experience with tax software and general technological proficiency advantageous
  • The right to work permanently in the UK is required for this position
