The Best Connection are looking for an enthusiastic Counterbalance Forklift Driver to work for one of our Clients in the Basingstoke area. This is an ongoing role.
Hours of work
- 07:00-16:30 (1 hour lunch break)
- Monday to Friday
- 43 hours per week
Rate of Pay
- 12.50
Responsibilities of the FLT Driver
- Collecting building supplies for customers
- Moving materials from A to B using a FLT truck
- General FLT duties
- Serve customers in a helpful and friendly manner and ask questions to establish customer needs
- Pick and assemble orders for both delivery and collection, matching picking notes to the driver delivery notes
- Undertake regular stock takes and advise on low stocks
- Order goods within branch guidelines
- Ensure any goods that are damaged are dealt with
- Keep the yard/warehouse clean, neat and tidy
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be asked of you
Requirements of the FLT Driver
- Have a good understanding of Building materials
- Provide good customer service
- Some previous experience in a similar job role
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
