About Us:
We are a medical device company specializing in the development of innovative wearable devices for the treatment of brain health conditions.
Role: We are looking for an experienced software engineer and manager to take responsibility for mobile app product development and support of our IT and business software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, launch, and maintain high-quality, complaint and secure iOS and Android mobile medical device applications on App Stores.
Work closely with external contracted software development teams to deliver new products, providing direction and management to projects.
Ensuring high quality and timely delivery of software updates and releases which proactively keeps pace with platform updates.
Support product software operations, Microsoft Azure cloud databases and applications.
Responsibility for testing iOS, and Android mobile applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Monitoring the performance of live apps and work with development teams on optimizing them.
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, platforms and protocols in the mobile space.
Qualifications and Skills:
Have a track record of delivering medical device, digital health Apps deployed on mobile devices which are used to control other medical devices.
Microsoft Azure certifications.
Familiarity with FDA/MDR/UK MDR medical device software regulation is essential including applicable standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 82304, and IEC 62366.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in the medical device Industry.
Familiarity with UK/EU and US data protection regulations and experienced in cybersecurity standards for health software and IT systems.
