HYBRID WORKING

Brilliant opportunity for a GIS Programme Manager with experience in either government, utilities or telecom sectors.

Candidates will have 10 years+ experience in leading complex GIS projects, be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from handover with the sales team to the delivery team, through project execution stages, culminating in closure and eventual handover to the support team.

You will engage with our GIS customers, discover the value of GIS within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment. You will be ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers. Have demonstrable ability to evaluate and translate a customer’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical plans and solutions.

Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
