Engineering Technician

Our high-technology industry client is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician.

We’re looking for an individual with proven experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines. The role also involves manual machining, including milling and turning, and the assembly of complex mechanical systems to precise technical specifications.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate, set and programme CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications to set up the machine accordingly.
• Manual machining including, milling, turning.
• Assembly of complex products and systems to technical specifications.

Essential Experience, Skills, & Qualifications:

• Proven experience with setting and operating CNC machines.
• Good manual dexterity skills and experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with ISO9001 or applicable industry standards.
• Proven experience within an assembly type of environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot.
• Superb organisational skills and detailed orientated.
• Experience of lean manufacturing.
• IT literate and used to working with Microsoft Office.
