A unique opportunity has arisen for a business savvy and results driven Sales Manager to join a luxury hotel brand renowned for its collection of individual historic properties across the UK, delivering high quality experiences and exceptional hospitality.

As the Sales leader for your hotel your expertise in all segments of hotel sales and your passion for excellence will be critical in continuing to position the hotel as the premier choice for corporate, events, meetings, food & beverage, wedding and leisure guests.

As the Hotel Sales Manager you will be the driving force behind their revenue growth and market expansion. Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with high-profile key clients and your creativity and strategic thinking will be key in developing and executing innovative sales strategies that sets them apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a proactive approach in managing hotel accounts to maximise revenue from corporate, groups, food & beverage and meetings, events sectors
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities within the local market across to meet hotel budget targets
  • Maintain open communication with the General Manager to create a sales-driven culture and improve performance
  • Identify and build relationships with local businesses to enhance brand visibility and increase direct bookings
  • Market and sell hotel events within the local community, collaborating with destination organisations for effective outreach
  • Assist in the development and execution of the sales & marketing plan
  • Leverage local sales resources to drive customer engagement and community initiatives according to seasonal needs

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • You will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment
  • It is essential you are driven, very well presented personally, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role and with set targets and objectives
  • Can demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised with a systematic approach to your work
  • You will have excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories
  • It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required
