Morgan McKinley are working with a well established business based in Bath looking for a Financial Controller to join their Finance Function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business as they continue to grow. The responsibilities include:

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership supporting business planning and decision-making across the UK region.
  • Provide commercial insight and oversight, helping to manage risk and drive financial performance.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of key information.
  • Lead continuous improvement of finance systems and controls, and ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, contributing to strategic discussions and supporting project delivery.
  • Manage operational finance activities, including cost control and team leadership, while fostering a positive team environment.

With this role being business critical the below experience is required:

  • Qualified - ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience within civil engineering or construction
  • Experience of projecting accounting - including multi disciplinary projects
  • Team management experience
