Our client specialises in providing comprehensive water hygiene and treatment solutions to a diverse range of clients across various sectors- namely education & NHS.
Role Overview:
They are currently seeking a motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of water quality standards for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting water hygiene assessments in accordance with current legislation and industry standards.
- Implementing and monitoring water treatment programs, including disinfection works and Legionella control measures.
- Sampling of Water Systems
- Undertaking cleaning and disinfection of water systems, including tanks, pipework and cooling towers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on water hygiene matters.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the water treatment industry.
- Strong understanding of current legislation and guidelines relating to water hygiene and Legionella control (e.g., ACoP L8, HSG 274).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license.
