Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer Location: Bath Duration: PermanentSalary: Circa £55,000 per annum (DOE)We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electronics Engineer for a permanent position based in Bath.This role involves working within a small group of designers developing and introducing new solutions for networking industrial actuators.You will be focused on investigating, developing and designing the hardware and on occasion low level firmware you will be involved through the development process, from influencing specifications to introducing it to the production line. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Collaborating with project and business stakeholders.* Developing and updating project plans and cost estimates.* Defining system operation and requirements.* Delivering high quality design concepts, prototypes and production packages.* Proving that their design meets project requirements.* Reviewing, advising and signing off the work of others.* Adhering to design principles and processes following best practice.Requirements: Essential * Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.* Experience of designing industrial products for harsh environments.* Experience of the full product development lifecycle (specification to production).* Experience of design standards (e.g. EMC, LVD) and their application.* Experience of task and defect management, requirements capture, verification and validation tools.Desirable * Experience with Altium PCB capture.* Design for test and manufacture.* Experience in wireless and/or digital communication technologies.* Experience with wireless approvals.* Experience in embedded C programming.* Experience with python programming.Working Hours:* Flexible* 8am to 4pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5pm* Finish 30 mins early on Fridays* 37 hours per weekBenefits:* Pension Matched (5%-9%)* Annual bonus* Annual pay review* Company shares available* Hybrid working policy
