We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to join a dedicated team at a pivotal charity focused on supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals in society. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser and a strategic team leader to shape new strategies for growth and lead our fundraising efforts to new heights.
Day to day of the role:- Manage a diverse fundraising portfolio, maintaining and expanding our supporter base.
- Collaborate with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing to develop innovative strategies for growth, targeting regular givers, major donors, legacies, and corporate partnerships.
- Provide strategic leadership to a team of three fundraisers, fostering an environment that encourages agility and the implementation of new strategies.
- Build and steward relationships with high-value supporters to secure sustainable income.
- Ensure consistent use of the core case for support across all fundraising activities.
- Create and deliver compelling annual fundraising appeals that generate significant income.
- Oversee a calendar of mass fundraising events and community engagement initiatives.
- Utilize the Donorfy CRM system to its full potential for tracking fundraising performance, targeting campaigns, and shaping future activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of strategies and suggest improvements as needed.
- Proven track record of growing income in key fundraising areas such as legacies, major donors, corporate partnerships, or regular giving.
- Ability to manage a broad portfolio of work, effectively managing time and delegating tasks.
- Experience in leading and implementing strategies, including overseeing strategic projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and empowerment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems for donor data analysis and decision-making. Familiarity with Donorfy is desirable.
- Expertise in developing data-informed supporter journeys that motivate giving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors is desirable.
