CATERING ASSISTANTAn international construction and engineering organisation is looking for a catering assistant to join the team on a permanent basis! You will be providing top tier catering support for an industry leading construction and engineering organisation. You will be working alongside a kitchen team that ensures the staff are provided for whilst keeping the café clean and tidy ensuring the highest of standards. CATERING ASSISTANT ROLE:

Collaborating closely with the catering manager to ensure that menu meals are prepared and delivered to the required standard
Assisting in maintaining the overall efficiency of kitchen operations
Being involved in ad-hoc duties given by the catering manager
Contributing to the cleanliness and organisation of various areas within the kitchen, including tea points, dining areas, the main kitchen, pantry, and storage spaces
Following strict hygiene practices while preparing food
Assisting in setting up stations, plating meals, and ensuring timely service to diners
Monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and organising storage areas efficiently

CATERING ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:

1 year of hospitality or catering experience
Must have a food hygiene certificate
Ability to work under pressure, good communication and can work collaboratively
