We are seeking a Retail Assistant for a temporary assignment, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone with previous retail experience who is available to start immediately and can commit to approximately 2-3 weeks of work. The position involves various responsibilities including cash handling and store management tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:- Cashing up at the end of the day to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Opening and closing the store, managing security and readiness for business.
- Keeping all administrative tasks up to date to ensure smooth operations.
- Managing stock rotation on the shop floor to maintain freshness and availability of products.
- Ensuring the store presentation is clean and inviting at all times.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is essential.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately.
- Strong organisational skills to manage various administrative tasks.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts during store hours, including weekends.
