Production Operative

Job Responsibilities: 

As a production operative your duties will include:

- Checking product quality and ensuring the product codes are correctly positioned and legible
- Packing products into outers
- Checking all seals are to size and colour standards
- Feeding machines to keep lines running
- Lifting boxes and tubs within manual handling guidelines
- Stack pallets from ground level to a height of approximately 1.75 meters
- Stack tubs from ground level to a height of approximately 1.9 meters
- Keeping work area clean and tidy at all times

As a production operative you will be expected to:
- Comply with all health & safety, QA and technical procedures
- Report any faults which affect the efficient running of packing equipment
- Always handle the product in a hygienic manner wearing gloves or blue plasters when required
- Report to your Line Leader immediately any out of spec or contaminated product
- Ensure integrity and segregation of products are met

Rotating Shift Monday – Friday 07:00 – 14:30pm / 14:30pm – 22:00pm

37.5Hrs Pay £10.47 per hour overtime after 37.5Hrs Pay - £14.07
