Nursery Practitioner

We have a challenging but rewarding role in a Beaconsfield nursery which is a vibrant and nurturing early years setting committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children. This role requires a passion for early childhood development, understanding child development, ability to build relationships, adhere to safety and welfare guidelines, and be creative and resourceful.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and supervise children in various play-based activities, fostering their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported in their individual interests and needs.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and sharing progress and concerns as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application in early years settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
