Our client has a great opportunity to join a family owned worldwide, business as a Technical Design Co-ordinator. This company has a production facility based in Central Bedfordshire.The Technical Design Co-ordinator would be a key part to the design team developing and maintaining key relationships with customers, designers, and contractors.

You will also be translating enquiries into designs and specifications, ensuring a positive solution for the end costumer. Key responsibilities for a Technical Design Co-ordinator

  • Providing technical, estimating, costing and commercial assistance.
  • Administration of the technical and triage of enquiries.
  • Advising customers on the use and applications of products, securing customer and project details.
  • You will be building relationships with customers, with technical knowledge of the product and managing expectations.
  • Advice in relation to layouts, specifications and materials.
  • Inputting enquiries onto the CRM to create formal specifications when required.
  • Creating and reviewing technical drawing contracts.

Essential skills for a Technical Design Co-ordinator

  • Previous experience within design In either a work place or education environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of IT skills including word and Excel.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate time management skills, and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks
  • Full UK driver’s license
