Business Development / Account ManagerSalary: £30,000 Location:BedfordshireOur client:My client is a commercial finance brokerage located in the heart of Bedford. Trading since early 2022, they are now in their 2nd year of trade and growing rapidly. They pride themselves on offering specialist, knowledgeable advice, and finance products to a variety of UK SME's. Their key day to day activities include: • Enabling businesses to access the funding they require to achieve their growth plans and objectives. • Managing and expanding a large portfolio of clients through new business activities. • Protecting our company reputation by offering the right product, the first time, and being on hand to help any client with questions they have. The Role: As an Account Manager you will be responsible for providing advice to UK businesses, identifying which of our financial products would be most suited to their business objectives and growth goals. • You will build and successfully manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships by providing excellent service.• You will be responsible for preparing and submitting your customers' finance applications on their behalf and arranging paperwork to complete the requirement. • You will ensure that all records and data are kept up to date and accurate in our CRM. • You will be responsible for meeting targets and developing new business. About you:This role is new and existing customer sales and therefore, you will need to be able to communicate professionally and confidently with a variety of business levels including finance directors, managing directors etc. You will need to be self-motivated and determined to build a customer base for yourself and be comfortable with cold sales/prospecting. You will need to meet targets and develop your understanding of the sector.
