We are looking for a Reception Teacher to start in September 3 days a week.
The role is long-term and located in Bedford.
The ideal candidate will have 6 months + experience Teaching in a Primary setting and ideally experience Teaching Reception.
We require you to have:
- QTS and any other relevant qualification
- Excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum
- 6 + Teaching Experience in a Primary School
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trusting relationships with the pupils
Your responsibilites within the classroom:
- Plan, prepare and deliver the lessons to a high standard
- Feedback to the pupils and parents (parents evening)
- Mark homework and classwork
- Use various teaching methods to suit all the children
- Provide a safe environment for the children and report any concerns and issues to the DSL
The ideal candidate will be motivated, hard-working, caring, knowledgable, trust-worthy and approachable to excel in this role and provide a positive learning space for the children.
