A fantastic opportunity has opened up at a well renowned company for a mechanical assembler on an exciting project working with armoured vehicles. You'll be joining an established team of skilled assembler on a permanent basis.
We are looking for mechanical assemblers to join this company that have a passion for working on vehicles and can hit the ground running.
Due to the nature of the company, we are looking for experienced Mechanical Assemblers that will be able to dismantle vehicles and reassemble with bespoke modifications.
Responsibilities:
- Stripping of commercial vehicles
- Building bespoke vehicles
- Read and interpret mechanical instructions
- Use a variety of hand and bench tools (torque wrenches etc.)
- Work as part of a team or on your own using initiative
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on vehicles
- Working from an instruction work log
- Previous experience within a mechanical environment
- Previous experience using workshop tools including torque wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdriver etc.
- Hold a current UK driving licence.
- Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
- SC clearance or ability to achieve this (UK national with residency in the UK for the last 5 years)
Hours and days - Monday to Friday - 7am - 3:30pm
Salary - £26k plus bonuses
