As the Gardener your role will involve the following important duties:

• Work on a 15-acre site, part paddock and approximately 8 acres cultivated with vegetable garden and cutting garden.
• Maintain well-established, mature trees.
• Grass cutting using both residential and ride-on mowers. 
• Pruning, watering and weeding a variety of plants.
• Pest and disease control.
• Hedge cutting and topiary.
• Assist with flower cutting and vegetable gardens.
• Soft landscaping, tree planting and general landscaping.

The experience required…

As a successful Gardener, you will have the following:

• Gardening experience within a large estate previously.
• Horticultural and agricultural qualifications would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail and a keen interest in gardening.
• Previous tree work experience particularly with mature trees.
• PA1/PA6 licence.
• A chainsaw licence would be advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
