Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an HR Assistant based in Bedford for a reputable professional organisation.

Salary: up to £28,000 per annum Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 7 hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

The role…

As the HR Assistant your role will involve the following important duties:

• Coordinate the full recruitment process.
• Support the preparation and schedules of recruitment days.
• Undertake DBS and reference checks for new starters.
• Produce offer letters, contracts and other employee documentation.
• Absence management including collating absence reports.
• Attend meetings on employee relations including disciplinaries and grievances.

The experience required…

As a successful HR Assistant, you will have the following:

• CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards. 
• Minimum 2 years HR Administration or Assitant experience previously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal experience.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using MIS.
• Good working knowledge of current employment law and good HR practice.
• Diplomatic and able to handle confidential or sensitive information.
