The Role
An opportunity for a newly qualified social worker/student social workers who are looking to gain experience in a busy hospital social work team. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work in the office initially until you are familiar with our processes and thereafter a minimum of 1 week per month will be working from the office.

To assess and review adult residents to ensure safe discharges both from hospital and community settings.
Must have experience of electronic record keeping and previous experience of working in a statutory environment is desirable.


The Candidate

• Must hold a Social Care degree
• Must have experience of working with Adults in a social care setting or be able to demonstrate the ability to work with Adults.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of disability and illness relating to older people or the ability to acquire such knowledge.
• Must have a driving licence and use of a suitably insured vehicle for business purposes, or be able to otherwise demonstrate the ability to efficiently travel to sites around the Borough
