Reed Finance is partnered with a global manufacturer in Belfast, in the appointment of a full-time, permanent, and site-based Financial Controller role.
Managing a small team in a fast-paced environment, our client prefers that the successful applicant offers previous manufacturing experience.
- Reviewing and developing Finance and IT procedures as necessary including; month end processes, contractual and legal requirements, and Internal Control mechanisms
- Continued development of management information
- Production and review of the monthly management accounts
- Compile and review of all balance sheet account reconciliations
- Production of the annual budget, including regular reviews of performance, highlighting areas of concern, and working with departmental managers to improve profitability
- Monitor and review departmental costs and performance against agreed plans and budgets
- Production of statutory accounts
How to apply:
- All applicants should be a fully qualified accountant (CAI, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years PQE
- Strong inter-personal skills & ability to work to strict, time-pressured deadlines
- Previous payroll experience
- Experience of VAT for both UK and ROI and MTD submission
- Experience in the development and leading of a small accounts team
