Our client is a leading fresh foods manufacturer known for delivering high-quality and delectable products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced and creative Head of Bakery who is passionate about producing exceptional baked goods and leading a dynamic team.

Position Overview: As the Head of Bakery, you will be a key player in shaping the future of the bakery department. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire bakery operation, from recipe development to production and quality assurance. Your creative flair, leadership skills, and industry expertise will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their reputation for outstanding baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of bakers, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.

Recipe Development: Develop and innovate new bakery products that align with market trends and customer preferences.

Production Oversight: Manage the entire production process, from ingredient sourcing to final product delivery, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee consistent and exceptional product standards.

Budget Management: Work closely with the management team to develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while maintaining product excellence.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and food industry standards.

Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients and materials.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, Food Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a leadership role within a bakery or fresh foods manufacturing environment.

Creative and Innovative: A passion for creating new and exciting bakery products with a keen understanding of industry trends.

Strong Management Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakers.
