We are looking for Day Centre Support Worker to work in Belfast for the Belfast Trust on Contract basis/ flexible shifts

Location: Belfast

Position: Day Centre Support Worker

Pay rate: 11.67 per hour

Shifts: Mon- Fri x 30 hours

Eligibility Criteria

  • 2 years paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment.
  • NISCC registration is required
  • Right To Work in the UK (No Sponsorship)
  • Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
  • Valid Driver's license is required

Requirements

  • 4 GCSE's (grades A-C) or equivalent/higher qualification including English Language and 1 years paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment.
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and

compliance due to the nature of this work

  • Experience in working within disability services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment

Responsibilities

  • Ability and willingness to assist with physical and personal care needs.
  • Contribute to individual care plans based on a person centered approach and be involved in monitoring and reviewing the care plan when required.
  • Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
  • Assist the Day Care Worker and Allied Health Professionals with the delivery of programmes in accordance with Trust Policies.
  • Participate and support the physical and personal care needs of service users when required.
  • Assist in monitoring the supply of materials/equipment and report low supply levels to the Day Care Worker in a timely manner.
  • Meet standards set by HPSS Regulation, RQIA, NISCC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and

transparency

  • Any other duties of a similar nature which may be assigned by the manager as the circumstances dictate.
