Manpower is recruiting a CNC Operator on behalf of our client who are manufacturing advanced zero-emission boats to the marine sector.
Working in a clean and newly established manufacturing facility, the CNC Operator will operate a 5 Axis CNC Machine working alongside the production team and CNC programmer to manufacture composite parts.
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm, with a competitive salary plus a range of benefits (private medical, health cash plan, pension matching, 35 days holiday).
Ideally we are looking for CNC experience working with composites
The Role
- Operate and maintain 5 axis CNC routing machine
- Track tool usage and manage tool requirements
- Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Loading and setting of tooling
- Liaise with production manager to ensure good workflow
What we are looking for
- Experience operating a CNC Machine
- Experience working with composites
- Experience in quality inspection of parts against drawings
- Strong attention to detail
