Electrical Technician

Manpower are delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Irelands most innovative engineering companies who are on a mission to de-carbonise the marine sector.

This company are at the forefront of a green and sustianable future, manufacturing their advanced zero-emission vessels for the marine sector.

As the Electrical Technician, you will install and maintain electrical systems on new and prototype vessels. This will include an advanced electrical propulsion system which is at the centre of their zero-emission vessels.

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm

Suitable candidates will need proven Electrical experience with a qualified apprenticeship, along with experience in loom building/ maintenance, cable routing and fitting electrical hardware, ideally from Auto-Electrical, Marine or Aerospace sectors.

The Role:

• Install electric propulsion system and other electrical works on new vessels
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Support with test bench wiring updates
• Work with other teams and departments to complete tasks on time
• Electrical fault finding, trouble shooting and problem solving complex systems
• Work in other areas of production as part of a team if required
• Work to high quality standards and H&S

What we are looking for:

• Level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical discipline
• Minimum 4 years Electrical experience
• Experience in loom build, maintenance, cable routing and hardware fitting
• Strong fault finding, diagnostic and trouble shooting ability
• Experience in HV, LV and EV's is an advantage
• Can understand engineering drawings and work with engineers on new projects
• Auto-Electrical, Marine or Aerospace experience is desirable
