Engineering Manager - Requirements

  • Experience operating at a similar level with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam equipment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of engineers.
  • Organised and methodical with the ability to effectively plan and communicate to multiple departments within an organisation.

Engineering Manager - Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the site’s engineering team
  • Responsible for setting the direction and priorities,
  • Responsible for maintaining the site processing equipment & facilities with a focus on planned preventative maintenance.
  • Review the PM works and scheduling as appropriate to contribute to production output.
  • Be commercially aware of the costs of downtime and strive to operate best in class standards.
  • Be involved with installation of new equipment and machinery.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
