Production Manager - Belfast - Salary up to 60,000 + Benefits - Ref 1618
I am currently recruiting for a Production Manager to work for an engineering organisation based in Belfast.
The organisation has supplied their products to clients all over the globe for over 60 years.
Due to internal organisational changes within the business, they have the need to appoint a Production Manager on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Production Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Operations Director & responsible for managing the production part of the business. As a Production Manager you will be managing around 40 members of staff both directly & indirectly. You will have full autonomy to drive improvements across the shop floor be it annual CAPEX investments, amending production flows, Training & Development and so on. In this company there is a big focus on continuous improvement in line with Kaizan so you will be expected to drive change & improvements across production to increase output, reduce defects & wastage.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Production Manager
- Worked with electro-mechanical products
- Kaizan or Six Sigma
- Managed multi-disciplined teams
