Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our Belfast client - a well-established wealth management company who are looking to recruit a Paraplanner for their Belfast based team

The Paraplanner hired will work closely and support a team of financial advisors ensuring the highest of standards are met for clients.

With a staff team of 25 advisers and support staff, our client is one of Openworks top 50 wealth management firms with quality scores to match.

The client is looking for people who have attention to detail, are client centric and who are forward thinking to join their growing support team. They have fun while we work, and they combine social and professional when it comes to spending time together.

If you have 3-5 years, 5- 10years or 15- 25 year`s experience then they may have a role suited to you and where you are at now in your career.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team alongside the Financial Advisors to provide Paraplanning support
  • Preparing suitability reports for Pensions and Investment products
  • Liaising with a variety of Product Providers, Solicitors and Lenders, obtaining all requested information in a timely and efficient manner
  • Undertaking research to identify potential solutions to meet the client`s needs and objectives
  • Working collaboratively with both the Financial Planners, and other Financial Support Staff to deliver wider business goals and team objectives


Criteria:

  • Must have a minimum of a Level 4 Diploma - paraplanning experience
  • Minimum of 3-4 years` experience working in a Paraplanning role
  • Experience of completing portfolio valuations, suitability letters and dealing with financial providers daily.
  • Must have experience of producing illustrations and submitting applications
  • Able to follow business processes accurately and compliantly either independently or as part of a team
