Pertemps is representing a client who is currently seeking an outstanding Electrician to join their team in the equipment rental sector.We aim to strengthen our position as a leading provider in the market and elevate the level of service we offer to our valued customers.Are you interested in being part of this journey and establishing a rewarding career with a dynamic and expanding organisation?Read on to discover more about the opportunity available for an Electrician.In this role, your duties will involve maintaining and repairing all electrical components in our range of portable accommodation units.This will include conducting tests and inspections on portable buildings and accommodation units, as well as performing electrical refurbishments on cabins.Whether this is at our depots or during site installations on site, (hence drivers licence required).Effective communication is key in this position, ensuring that you keep your Line Manager and Customers informed as necessary.Collaborating closely with colleagues is essential, demonstrating strong teamwork and upholding high standards in the workplace while adhering to company procedures and protocols.What can you expect in return?

  • This includes anti-vandal 'green specification' accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and other essentials for construction sites and events.
A generous pay rate is offered.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 8am - 5pm.

To excel in the role of electrician, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
  • IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition qualification.
  • ECS Gold card
  • Experience in electrical testing and repairs.
  • PAT testing experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation, with a willingness to pursue new training opportunities, which may occasionally involve staying away from home.
  • Current UK driving licence.
  • CSCS card.
Desirable qualifications and experiences for the role include:
  • Previous experience with portable accommodation units.
  • Previous experience with generators.
  • Previous experience with ECO spec self-contained welfare units.
