A friendly, Berkeley-based accountancy practice is eagerly looking for a skilled Senior Accounts Assistant to join its supportive and close-knit work environment. This is a full, or part-time role offering a salary of up to £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), hybrid working and free onsite parking.

What you'll do as the new Senior Accounts Assistant:
- Take ownership of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Guide and mentor the Accounts Assistants
- Collaborate with the tax and payroll team
- Build strong client relationships...and enjoy the occasional client meeting over a proper cup of tea!
- Ideally, you've got solid UK accountancy practice experience; however, industry experience together with Xero is a plus, too
- You enjoy using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and/or Sage
- VAT returns are a breeze for you
- CIS returns are familiar to you, and you’re happy to learn more about them - no hands-on experience with CIS is necessary

- You're all about accuracy, proactive problem-solving, and meeting deadlines
