Role: Biology Teacher  

Location: Berkhamstead (Hertfordshire)

Qualified Teachers: £31,350-£47,839

Unqualified Teachers: £21,933-£33,464

Part time or Full time

Start: ASAP or Easter 2024

Supply desk are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Educator in Berkhamstead to join our esteemed faculty and inspire the next generation of biologists.

The Role and the Ideal Candidate: 

ü  Develop and implement captivating lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum, emphasizing the relevance of biology in our daily lives.

ü  Nurture a classroom environment that promotes active student participation and intellectual exploration.

ü  Conduct hands-on experiments and activities that bring biological concepts to life, cultivating a love for scientific inquiry.

ü  Assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to guide their academic journey.

ü  Foster open communication with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about students' achievements and areas for growth.

Desirable qualifications:

ü  A Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field.

ü  Teacher qualifications or equivalent certification in Biology or education.

ü  Proven experience in teaching Biology, preferably at the Secondary- KS3/4.

ü  A commitment to staying abreast of developments in Biology education and integrating innovative teaching practices.

ü  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
