My client makes officially branded driveable little cars for luxury high-end motor manufacturers such as Bugatti, Aston Martin and Ferrari. They are looking for a Project Manager to workclosely with the CEO, Head of Projects and across all departments, andwill play a pivotal role in delivering the companies projects to production by takingownership of a project from concept through to delivery, ensuring that the project runs to time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
- Own whole vehicle projects, making sure that everything happens as and when it supposed to, and to budget
- Initial creation of product definition and project plan, and ensuring ongoing adherence throughout the development process
- Work with the projects team to balance the competing priorities of other projects
- Supporting the Engineering & Manufacturing team to manage and deliver projects
- Manage project risks with effective mitigation strategies
- Be the contact point for key suppliers, ensuring the supplier delivers to requirement, including leading regular meetings
Experience Required:
- Project Management experience
- Experience in small/medium businesses
- Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking skills
- Engineering and technical knowledge
Desirable:
- Experience in niche, low volume or motorsport vehicle manufacturing environment
- Experience of vehicle safety and compliance testing and procedures
