Excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant with experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment who is looking to work with an international market leading company.
Do you have experience in buying, procurement or purchasing and looking for a varied, exciting role? Are you comfortable communicating with suppliers to manage relationships and improve performance?
This company are well established for over 60 years and have an excellent reputation for the quality of their work as well as looking after their staff. They are currently going through a period of growth due to winning new contracts. Due to their continued success they are now looking to add to their specialist team.
In this role you will be working as part of an established team where you will be responsible for various purchasing activities with international suppliers. You will be involved with raising purchase orders, producing quotations and managing supplier accounts. This role will be working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays.
The Role:
- Working with an established buying team and working with a global supply chain
- Producing quotations and working from engineering drawings
- Specialist training available to learn their internal processes
The Person:
- Purchasing or procurement background with experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Previous experience working with MRP systems preferred
- Looking for varied role and training opportunities to increase your technical skills
