IT Project Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office)

Xpertise are excited to be working with a well-known organisation in the retail sector to source them a Project Manager to join their IT team. My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead on a variety of IT projects ranging in complexity, initially surrounding infrastructure and networks.

I’m looking to speak with individuals who have demonstrable experience delivering and leading on a range of IT projects and workstreams, who has a strong governance background and planning skills. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to positively influence stakeholders of various levels.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Taking full ownership of projects, responsible for solving problems and overseeing tasks through to finish
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the delivery of projects
Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure the quality levels of the deliverables meet expectations
Manage project risks and ensure best practice governance
Production management of required products as per project deliverables, including project control documents such as PID
Being the liaison between the technical IT teams and business stakeholders of a varying understanding of IT knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience required:

Experience as a Project Manager within a fast-paced environment
Experience around infrastructure projects, ideally around networking, WIFI, CCTV but not essential
Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
